After a traumatic, unexpected surgery eight years ago, Christine found herself in need of a therapist! She went through the whole rigmarole of finding - and breaking up with - five different therapists before finding one that she was able to build an authentic connection with and support her emotional well-being. The wasted hours, appointments, and money spent on finding a therapist motivated Christine to build a solution to make it easier for patients and providers to connect based on more than just zip code and insurance coverage.
